The Honkytonk Highway CD Joe Berry's new release will be advertised on Television beginning approx January 25th 2010 on Channel 10 in Greenville, Spartanburg, SC and Western NC and Channel 4 in the Clems
on, Central and Seneca SC areas.
Joe Berry Soon To Release "The Honkytonk Highway CD - November 29, 2009
A project two years in the making is soon to be released ! The Honkytonk Highway CD is a twelve song all original CD with a great production by Buddy Strong whom also produces "The Marshall Tucker Band". The CD will release December 15th for purchase but the first of the year for radio due to Christmas music.
We are very pleased with this project and for all you country music lovers I believe you will love this CD. The music playing when you open this site is off the new CD. Pick you up one folks and spread the word. There is nothing like having great fans and great country music !!

Joe Berry while in concert in Honea Path, SC for The Traditional Country Music Association was presented the Colonel Aide de Camp award by legislative member Ron Campbell signed by The Governor of Tennessee Phil Bredesen.
Deeply Saddened by the loss of a friend - March 3, 2009
It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that I have to inform you a long time friend and touring buddy Grand Ole Opry Star Ernie Ashworth died March 02 2009 in Hartsville, TN about 10:30 am central time. He will be missed and I say this selfishly but Ernie wouldn't come back if he could, he's strolling over Heaven with his beloved Bettye whom passed a little over a year ago. God Bless you my friend and I promise you will never be forgotten but remembered with respect and memories of which you deserve. We will meet again on Heavens Bright Shore.

Hi Folks, with these economic times I have discussed with my staff the importance of a few things:
1. We have to keep our show price at a minimum yet to where we can still make ends meet in order for the Jamborees and Oprys to stay a float. If they go under we all are hurt.
2. Take care of the people like promoters that are working hard every day to see we are heard on the radio and that our shows are full. If they don't hear you or know you're coming there are empty seats.
3. Last but not least by keeping our prices reasonable the venue can keep the ticket prices reasonable so that our fans can afford to bring their family out to hear a great show and forget some of the trying times for a couple of hours without mortgaging the farm to do so.
